Original Excellent French Modèle 1892 Lebel Revolver in 8mm dated 1893 Serial F 6581 First Year of Production Empire Edged Weapons it is nice to see it is nice to see a hewer with this kind of preservation to the hilt as the base metal is pot metal and often the plating did not hold up well this example has a bright polished steel blade
