Original German WWI Seitengewehr M1884 98 II Sawback Bayonet with Scabbard Japanese Ordnance 1853 1860In 1853 the 1853 1860In 1853 the long threaded bolts for securing the chin scales were replaced by threaded screws and the new chinscales hooked together in the center with a small ball and corresponding hole when not worn under the chin so many are found without one like this example
