Original French Modèle 1866 74 Gras Converted Rifle by St. Etiénne Serial Q 83673 with M1874 Bayonet and Scabbard Dated 1873 Chinese Militaria and the 191st stayed on and the 191st stayed on their ships while Headquarter Company set up operations on shore It looks like it may have been re fitted post war and had the German markings scrubbed
